Educational Opportunities
If you’re pregnant or have small children, you’re eligible to enroll in the Earn While You Learn program. A client meets with his/her mentor about once a week to learn about pregnancy, child development, parenting, and other topics. Our goal is to help you become the best parent you can possibly be.
You will benefit significantly from the mentoring relationship, education, and advice you receive. They’re essential tools to boost the parent’s confidence and self-esteem as you learn to take care of your child.
Financial Benefits
Raising a baby is expensive and financial struggles can lead to other problems. By attending the Earn While You Learn classes, mothers and fathers can earn “Baby Bucks” to spend in “The Blessing Store.” Parents can get nearly everything you need for your baby, from formula and diapers to a crib and crib mattress.
We want to help you succeed in your parenting journey. The material assistance and education we provide are just a couple of the ways we get you started on a firm foundation. Through the client/mentor relationship, mothers and fathers will be better equipped to face the challenges and blessings of parenting.
Other programs
If you are struggling with an unhealthy relationship, we want to mentor you, too. Through our Life Skills classes, you will be able to see how your sexual choices and relationships affect you, your children, and your future, as well as your health and happiness. This program teaches the importance of genuinely healthy relationships and how to find them.
